have always been a song kind of person; i associate memories with songs, feelings with lyrics, and people with the emotions i feel when i listen to a song. periods in my life have always been defined by a particular song/genre. can probably plug into my playlist all day and just wallow in the floods of feelings and memories. am also really amazed that i recently went back to chinese music after a.. hiatus since primary six, and most of the time the songs that play on radio ARE SONGS I KNOW?! k chinese songs are timeless. but they're also the most meaningful and rly make me feel like i am living in the song for that moment, if you get what i mean.
also, rly random but i realized today that i have not worn any medicine/school-related shirt to school for almost a month!!! 8-) (mainly coz idk where they are....)
i really miss my grandma and grandpa. memories of them and how they look like and their voices are slowly fading and it's so hard to grasp and pull them back. will never understand this death thing and its permanence.. will also never understand why we choose to hurt the people we love while we're alive.
lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones, and i will try to fix you.
