first off i'd really like to apologize for the number of trainings i missed.. :( cause of ca1, cambodia, and ca2. didn't really have the mood for ihg this year cause of ca2, 2/3 carnival days were before my exams so my head wasn't really in the games. felt quite demoralized too cause my stickwork and aggression just wasn't thr during the first few games. and this happened all the way til my adelphe trng too so i was just rly not looking forward to floorball. luckily it went back to normal ytd for our last 2 games for ihg!! :)
i'm a v v superstitious person- one such superstition is that whenever i do badly for pre-game warmup, i'll play v well in games and vice versa. HAHA still hasn't failed me. so i'm actly v v happy whenever i miss my shots during warm up.
anwy, proud of this small (so small, we are practically half the numbers of every other hall team) but mighty team that no other hall probably expected anything of but (i quote The Imitation Game which i just finished watching online), "sometimes it's the people no one imagines anything of that do the things that no one imagines" :> we only lost one game, drew two, and won two, and came only one point short of second place. with our lack of players and even more severe lack of IVP players, we really honestly did sooooo well. a v impt person to thank for that is our coach, JQ. he's the youngest coach i've had for floorball, but really deserves my respect and his tactics, no matter how ridiculous they sound at first, WORK. i'm rly in awe of him, so much so that i stop questioning his instructions and just listen cause at the end of everything i'd understand why. our wins, our draws, and our not-so-bad loss, may not have been possible without his novel tactics. (:
for our KR game, (they were champs last year and we were the only team who won them last year hehehe) we played so hard, and it was the best match of the entire season cause i felt that everyone came tgt and supported each other and it's a really nice feeling when your forwards help you take out the impending danger so you won't have to risk running up and leaving the centre open. and we wonnnnn again woohoo ^^v i tell you, one of the best feelings in the world is winning a hard-fought match when it's everyone's effort. have always been a supporter of the underdogs, so.. yay (:

it's gong gong's death anniversary tomorrow.. can't believe it's been a year already. i miss them.
school's been about geriatrics now and it's one of my more interested specialties cause i love the elderly, but it's been hitting v close to home. my only grandma recently just fell and has a HUGE bruise on one side of her face and of course for every normal person it'll be off to the hospital immediately, but here comes the problem: she's probably not fit for any surgery and so there's not much point in sending her to the hospital. it's a horrible feeling, knowing that there's nth you can do but wait and hope for the best. i'm rly hoping she'll be okay and the bruise will go away and there's nothing wrong.
